Crafting with Nature's Treasures at Winter - Reflections by Lyndsay at Moomi Botanicals
Our AW Shoot Campaign was made extra special with a stunning everlasting wreath created by Lyndsay at Moomi Botanicals.
She talks to us about her inspiration at this time of year and her vision for our wreath which we wanted to tie in with our bow collection.

I’ve loved flowers for as long as I can remember. Growing up with two generations of
gardeners; evenings and weekends were spent trailing after my mum in the garden and
tending to the small patch of soil where I could grow my own. I learnt how to sow seeds
in my grandads greenhouse and it still amazes me how with gentle care and patience, a
box of seeds can be transformed into a garden full of flowers.
As a flower farmer and dried flower artist, it feels natural to grow and design in harmony
with the seasons, watching for the signs of transition and those quiet marks on the
landscape that shape our behaviour. Winter, in particular invites us to slow down, get
cosy at home in our pj’s and enjoy hearty foods. Outside, we notice the subtle treasures
still holding form and texture: the silver papery discs of Lunaria annua (honesty), the
fluffy seed heads of wild clematis that scramble over headrows and variety of golden
seedheads that take stage in the garden
When I gathered these materials for the Sian Esther Christmas shoot, I wanted to tell a
story of the landscape, evoking a sense of the season. Each stem carrying a whisper of
the year gone by: the shimmer of the sun, the golden hues of autumn and frosty mornings
to come. Arranged together, they create something rooted in place and season,
celebrating impermanence and reminding us that beauty doesn’t fade; it simply
changes shape. In that transformation lies the true magic of winter.
