Stir Up Sunday - The Chocolate Way!
This Sunday we are doing things a little differently for Stir Up Sunday! With help from our friend at The London Pantry @thelondonpantry we are making Chocolate Fudge Crinkle Biscuits following the Good Food Recipe. It doesn't use any butter and only 60g of cocoa powder and the children love them!
Ingredients
60g Cocoa Powder
200g Caster Sugar
60ml Vegetable Oil
2 Large Eggs
180g Plain Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
70g Icing Sugar
Method
Mix the cocoa, caster sugar and oil together. Add the eggs one at a time.
In a separate bowl stir the flour, baking powder and pinch of salt and then add to the cocoa mixture to form a soft dough. Create small balls with the dough and then dust with icing sugar.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes!
